Choose The Best Niche For Your Blog

THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO STARTING A BLOG

HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST NICHE FOR YOUR BLOG?

Many bloggers think that the best niche for a blog is the one that you are most passionate about. While passion makes writing easier, the fact that you are passionate about a certain niche doesn’t make it profitable.

Unless you want to start a blog just for fun, what you need to understand is that if you really want to make money blogging, you must find a profitable niche. When the money will finally start flowing, trust me, you’ll love it.

So What Makes Popular Niche Profitable?

With a strong marketing strategy, a popular niche can drive tons of traffic to your blog.

Traffic equals money.

You can place ads in your blog, sell products, promote affiliate links, and turn this traffic into a profit.

When you own a blog that generates high traffic on a monthly basis, earning money online becomes easier.

Choosing the right niche will help you get high traffic faster. By promoting your blog posts organically on google and on social media, you will be able to achieve your traffic goals fast and start monetizing your blog.

The secret is to find blog topics that have high monthly search volumes AND low competition. This means that you need to write and use specific keywords that people use often on the internet, but yet not too competitive (commonly used by other site owners).

To find these topics and keywords you should do keyword research – a technique that helps you discover the exact monthly volumes of each keyword that people use on the internet. This technique is called SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I explain how to use SEO technique in detail here.

THE MOST PROFITABLE NICHES LIST

Here is a list of the most profitable niches on the Internet:

Tip: If you’re planning to monetize your blog through affiliate marketing, look for profitable affiliate programs with high ticket products that pay high commissions. Some of these products are clothes and shoes, blogging products, financial services, hotels and flights, and more. After you start a blog, you can apply to some of the most popular affiliate marketing networks, such as Share a Sale, Skimlinks, CJ, etc. to check the commissions for each industry.

If you’re struggling with how to come up with a blog niche, don’t worry, you’re not the only one. It took me almost a year to focus on one niche. Just try to come up with a profitable niche that you can write a lot of content about easily. Once you start writing and your blog will start gaining traffic, analyze your blog traffic and look for the topics that work best for you.

Here is how to start:

FIRST, BRAINSTORM

Write down ten topics on which you would like to write about and start writing a short post on each one of them. Through the writing process, you will notice which topics are more natural for you and you have more information to share with your readers. By the time you finish writing, you will already know which niche interests you the most.

START WRITING DON’T BE AFRAID!

Writing will make you specialized in your niche even more. Over time, you might focus on a completely different niche that you didn’t think about before.

Once you choose the best niche for your blog, you need to pick a blog name, check its domain availability, and set up a blog on Bluehost. Now you can move to the next step by clicking the navigation links below.
